What is rent protection?
Even the best tenants can fall on hard times and over half (58%) of landlords and agents cited a tenant being in arrears as the most common reason for ending a tenancy according to Government findings.* Whilst it’s natural to be sympathetic, your rental income still needs to be paid. We’ll ensure that you receive the monthly rent payable for up to a maximum of 15 months when the tenant defaults. You will also benefit from up to £100,000 of legal expenses, including eviction costs. Our unrivalled protection includes:
- Rent paid for 15 months or up to Vacant Possession, whichever is first (up to £50,000)
- Up to £100,000 to cover eviction costs if the tenant is in breach of their tenancy agreement
- Nil Excess
- Continued rental payments should the claim be defended by tenants
- 75% of rent paid for up to 3 months post Vacant Possession
